Stromae - Te Quiero

arti penting social network buat gue

ga semua orang suka sama bacotan kita

bukan sekedar cari sensasi
jadi sotoy gini gue hehehe

follow aja gue di twitter. username nya @laurazhar
kalo mau follow sekalian temen2 gue ya @putridwir @anabellabe @istiannisa @hannamanu
@mirmiraf @arbisatrio @yaumilmil
hahahahahahahahahaha LOL

VH1 casts 'spoiled' Gastonia woman

Fans of trashy reality TV shows: Get ready to root for (or against, maybe?) a bunch of spoiled brats.

The new VH1 series "You're Cut Off!" will feature Courtnee Mason of Gastonia among a cast of nine spoiled young women who "are turned loose by their fed-up benefactors, stripped of all cash and convenience and forced to live like 'normal people' -- right in the middle of a recession." The series premieres at 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 9.

According to a VH1 press release, the 25-year-old Mason and her showmates "must complete daily chores and learn hard lessons from life coach Laura Baron. More than just getting the hang of buying groceries and vacuuming, their transformation is about finding the confidence and independence to grow up and to realize there's more to this world than material wealth."

Sneak-peek episodes of "You're Cut Off!" will launch at VH1.com the week prior to each on-air premiere. Full episodes will be available on the site the morning after they premiere.

Charlotte to host Playboy Bunny bash

Mez, a restaurant and lounge in the EpiCentre, has partnered with Playboy to host a party on June 10 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Playboy Clubs and Playboy Bunny.

Beginning at 10 p.m. on that Thursday, Mez will turn one of its theatres into a "Playboy Club," "illuminated with historic images and video footage from the famed Clubs." The featured guest is Playboy Playmate/N.C. native Amanda Paige (Miss October 2005, pictured). DJ Fashen will spin music.

This event is one of 50 parties Playboy will throw around the world in June to celebrate the milestone.

Tickets are available for $10 through www.bandtastic.com/playboyclub50, or for $20 at the door. Details: www.mezcharlotte.com or www.playboyclub50.com.

Boyzone

Boyzone’s next album has reportedly been shelved to give Ronan Keating time to focus on his private life.
The album was due to be released before Christmas (just ahead of their 2011 arena tour), but its currently on hold until Ronan feels ready to record again after separating from his wife last week.
A source told a national newspaper: “Plans for a new Boyzone album at the end of the year have been shelved so that Ronan has time to concentrate on his private life... “He’s not in the right head space to think about recording, so unless he feels up to it there won’t be another record before the 2011 arena tour.”
The band will reportedly also not be releasing any more songs from the ‘Brother’ album after their latest single, ‘Love Is A Hurricane’, only reached No.44 in the charts.

I love you guys. Crystal, I love you. I’m so happy right now, I’ve never been happier in my life. There are no words to describe it. This is amazing and I appreciate everything everybody here has done.” – Seriously though, fair-play to him!

Alan Pride & Jeremy Kalls - Feel Alone

Poor Leona Lewis, things are going from bad to worse for her career in America and now Simon Cowell is trying to salvage Leona Lewis’s US plans after her tour with Christina Aguilera was scrapped.
According to a national newspaper Simon Cowell is now hoping to use his influence to secure Leona a support slot on another American tour with a huge artist ...
A source told the newspaper that the cancelled gigs had been “a massive blow to Leona”
Leona Lewis is about to start on a tour of the UK and Ireland titled ‘The Labyrinth’. Her first gig takes place in Sheffield on Friday night... I’ll be there at the Dublin date!

T.I.

T.I. has revealed that he’s collaborated with Lady GaGa on a song for his upcoming new album.
In an interview with MTV he described Lady GaGa as a “phenomenal talent” and said that he is “extremely proud” to have worked with her on the song, which is tentatively titled ‘Lick It’... “She's definitely that good. She knows what she's doing. She knows exactly what she wants people to think and say. She does everything that she needs to be done to ensure it happens,” he said... “I think she's an entertainer, in all aspects of the word. She's a classic, all-round entertainer. A global star.”
T.I. also said that he hopes to go back into the studio to record more “I think we both have a tendency to shock the world in a lot of different ways.”

Could the rain play right into the hands of NSW?

The Maroons have painted themselves as underdogs and former State of Origin greats believe that may just be the case for tonight’s series opener as driving rain lashes Sydney’s ANZ Stadium.

With New South Wales having already promised to rock their opponents into submission, the miserable weather looks set to play right into their hands, with South Sydney coach and former Queensland hooker John Lang worried it will nullify the Maroons’ brilliant backline.

“It will be marginally better for NSW,” Lang said. “NSW have plenty of good attacking backs too but Queensland probably has a bit more brilliance.

“Across the backline they’ve got a bit more to offer and like to use the ball a bit more too.

“That’s why I say it will marginally suit NSW.”

Ne-Yo

Ne-Yo has revealed the title of his new album and single, the album is titled ‘Libra Scale’ and will be released in September. The single will be ‘Beautiful Monster’ with Ne-Yo premiered on his Myspace page today.
Ne-Yo recently revealed plans to turn his new album into a movie, explaining the first single and its video will make more sense after the film is released.
In a video blog he said: “The song embodies a portion of a story that the music on the album is inspired by. The beautiful monster is in fact our love interest/arch nemesis - her name is Domini in the film... “It may not make a whole lot of sense right this second, but once you see the videos and the forthcoming film it will all meld together.”
Can’t wait! I loved his last album ‘Year of the Gentlemen’

Christina Aguilera

OMG... Christina Aguilera has reportedly cancelled all her North American tour dates because she needs more time to rehearse! (yeah you heard right, wouldn’t you think that you’d plan this before announcing dates...?)
Christina’s US tour was due to start in July, but the dates have since been pushed back until 2011, with concert organisers admitting that she needs more time to prepare.
A statement from Live Nation said: “The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible.”

Pussycat Dolls

The new members of the Pussycat Dolls have made their debut! choreographer Robin Antin introduced the new lineup last Friday during the group's first-ever live performance at a private party in Los Angeles.

NSW favourites to win State of Origin I

QUEENSLAND wanted the underdog tag - and now they officially have it.

For the first time in three years, NSW are poised to start an Origin match as favourites with the bookies after a flood of money for the Blues late yesterday.

The Blues are returning $1.85 on TAB Sportsbet with the four-time series-winning Maroons friendless in betting. They have drifted to $1.95.

Last Tuesday, Queensland were put up as the $1.67 favourites with NSW returning $2.15.

"False odds," NSW legend Tommy Raudonikis spat when told of the Blues' favouritism. "Queensland do this every year. They talk about injuries and how tough they are doing it.

Rihanna

I went to see Rihanna on Saturday night at The O2 in Dublin, and to say she was AMAZING would be an understatement!
I was sat there thinking wow i can’t actually believe just how many hits she’s had! It was only when she was belting them one after another...
The highlight for me had to be ‘Disturbia’ it was like a scene out of transformer, with the dancers on stilts, also brilliant was ‘Rudeboy’, SOS, and ‘Please don’t stop the music’ and the opening of the show to ‘Russian Roulette’ was just genius!
Fantastic night, and i’d happy go and see this show again, can’t wait for the DVD!

Alicia Keys

I went to see Alicia Keys on Friday night at The O2 in Dublin, to be honest i thought it might be quite boring, her just sat there all night in front of the piano, but OMG ... She was amazin’ and she was dancing around the place!
From her opening act behind a cage (complete with chains) she belted out all her hits including ‘Falling’, 'You don’t my name’ and of course the roof nearly lifted off when she sang ‘Empire State of mind’ it was a fantastic night, and if you get a chance to see it, the GO!

Sydney loses millions in tourism dollars
City outanked as conference destination
Melbourne competing for tourism pie

SYDNEY is losing millions of dollars in tourism spending as it continues its steep slide down the global rankings for international conferences.

City rankings recently released by the International Congress and Convention Association ranked Sydney 27th worldwide for the number of international conferences hosted in 2009, down from a ranking of 24th in 2008 and well below the top-20 position it held in 2006.

Kuala Lumpur and Rome outrank Sydney as a conference destination. And Melbourne is closing.

International business travellers injected $524 million into the NSW economy last year, around $57 million less than 2008 and $169 million less than in 2007, by spending an average of $1371 each on hotels, restaurants and tourist activities.

Crowds gather in Sydney for CeBIT 2010

THE country's biggest gathering of its tech tribes got under way today as CeBIT Australia opened its doors with exhibitor numbers up on last year and an expansion deal with the NSW government.

The show runs from today through Wednesday at Sydney’s Darling Harbour and this year there are 605 exhibitors, up on last year’s number of 576, according to Jackie Taranto, managing director of show organiser Hannover Fairs Australia.

Ms Taranto is hoping for visitor numbers in excess of 30,000 - there were 29,403 visitors last year.

The conference program has been beefed up with 135 speakers covering everything from e-health to the national broadband network to business transformation projects. Ms Taranto said there were 1400 paid conference delegates, up on about 1200 last year.

NSW Premier Kristina Keneally opened the show and attempted to establish her geek credentials with anecdotes about the difficulties of debugging programs tapped into her childhood Commodore 64.

One Republic

I’ve been listening to One Republic’s second album ‘Waking up’ on my i-pod for a number of months, and man, it has to be one of the best albums in recent years, yet it hasn’t even made a dint in the charts (peaking at No.29 in the UK and No.21 in America)

My favourite tracks so far:
‘Marchin’ on’
‘All this time’
‘Secrets’
‘All the right moves’
If you don’t own this masterpiece ... get out and buy it!

Faithless

I went to see Faithless in concert on Wednesday night and to say that they were brilliant would be an understatement, they were fantastic!
It didn’t even take them until the end of the first track (which was from their new album) to have the crowd in the palm of their hand! And when tracks like ‘Insomnia’ and ‘God is a DJ’ came on i thought i was gonna go deaf, the crowd raised the roof! If you get a chance to see them live, they are a must!

Another 'Sex' party, this one at Birkdale

Looking for an alternative to the EpiCentre's "Sex and the City 2" parties? Here are details from a press release about a similar bash taking place next week at Birkdale Village in Huntersville:
HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- Grab your girlfriends and get ready for more Sex.

That’s right -- Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda are back for “Sex and the City 2” and you can see it before anyone else on May 26 at Birkdale Village while helping out a very deserving charity.

Organizer Bruna Oliveira and her team raised more than $30,000 at a premiere party in 2008 for the first film. This year’s event is expected to best that fundraising total while living up to the theme of Bigger than Big, with proceeds benefitting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Wednesday’s sneak peek event will be extravagant and decadent, packed with food, fun, fashion, cocktails, swag bags and of course “Sex and the City 2,” which attendees will see before everyone else (the film opens nationally on Thursday, May 27).

Each $100 ticket includes admission to the event that begins at 5:30 p.m. with a pre-show cocktail party at Dressler’s Restaurant, 8630-1A Lindholm Drive, Huntersville, complete with cocktails and delicious food, followed by a private screening of the film at Regal Birkdale Stadium 16.

Along the way, there will be belly dancing lessons, camels (or is it a mirage?) and a best shoe contest, in which the winner will take home a pair of Carrie’s favorite kicks. And don’t miss the fantastic silent auction jammed with prizes from local spas, restaurants and boutiques.

The simply fabulous night wraps up with a post-screening champagne and dessert party at Dressler’s Restaurant. The 2008 event sold out quickly, and this event is expected to as well. Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Tickets are on sale at Fresh Boutique, 813 Providence Road, Charlotte, 704.343.9071, shopfreshboutique.com; Monkee’s of Lake Norman, 624 Jetton St., Davidson, 704.896.7779, monkeesoflakenorman.com; and Poppies, 16926 Birkdale Commons Parkway, Huntersville, poppiesgifts.com, 704.896.3433.

Justin Bieber - stuck in the moment

With you
With you
I wish we had another time
I wish we had another place

Now Romeo & Juliet
Bet they never felt the way we felt
Bonnie & Clyde
Never had to hide it like we do, we do

You and I, both know it can't work
It's all fun and games
'Til someone gets hurt
And I don't,
I won't let that be you

Now you don't wanna let go
And I don't wanna let you know
That there might be something real between us two
Who knew?
Now we don't wanna fall but
We're tripping in our hearts
And it's reckless and clumsy
Cause I know you can't love me here

I wish we had another time
I wish we had another place
But everything we have is stuck in the moment
And there's nothing my heart can do (can do)
To fight with time and space cause
I'm still stuck in the moment with you

See like Adam & Eve
Tragedy was their destiny
Like Sonny & Cher
I don't care
I got you baby

See we both
Fightin' every inch of our fiber
Cause ain't no way
It's gonna end right but
We are both too foolish to stop

Now you don't wanna let go
And I don't wanna let you know
That there might be something real between us two
Who knew?
And we don't wanna fall but
We're tripping in our hearts
And it's reckless and clumsy
And I know you can't love me here

I wish we had another time
I wish we had another place
But everything we have is stuck in the moment
And there's nothing my heart can do (can do)
To fight with time and space cause
I'm still stuck in the moment with you

See like
Just because this cruel, cruel world saying we can't be
Baby we both have the right to disagree
And I ain't with it
And I don't wanna be so old and gray
Reminiscing 'bout these better days
But convinced just telling us to let go
So we'll never know

I wish we had another time
I wish we had another place
Cause everything we did
And everything we have is stuck in the moment
Yeah

I wish we had another time
I wish we had another place
(Oh no no)
But everything we have is stuck in the moment
And there's nothing my heart can do
(Nothing my heart can do)
To fight with time and space
(Time and space)
I'm still stuck in the moment with you

Yeah
Whoa

justin bieber

i love him so much, he's my inspiration.
I remember when I first listened "one time by. justin bieber" I immediately liked the song

'The A-Team' cast is coming to speedway

The stars of surefire summer blockbuster "The A-Team" will make an appearance at this year's Coca-Cola 600 on May 30 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord.

According to a CMS press release, Bradley Cooper ("The Hangover"), Jessica Biel ("I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry"), Sharlto Copley ("District 9") and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (of Ultimate Fighting Championship fame) "will deploy on a secret mission" during the pre-race festivities for the 51st running of the Memorial Day Weekend race.

In addition, the movie stars will serve as honorary race officials for the Coca-Cola 600 and take part in various activities around the speedway prior to the main event.

"The A-Team" is a reboot of the popular 1980s TV series about a colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit and have gone "rogue" in an effort to clear their names. Cooper is Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck, Jackson is Sgt. Bosco 'B.A.' Baracus, Copley is Capt. 'Howling Mad' Murdock, and Biel plays an officer pursuing the team. The film -- which also stars Liam Neeson -- opens nationwide June 11. Click here for more details on it.

Tickets for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway can be purchased online at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com or by calling 1-800-455-FANS. Friends and family four-pack tickets start at just $39.75 per person. The race also will be televised live on FOX at 5 p.m., and can be heard on the radio through the Performance Racing Network beginning at 4:45 p.m.

Sugababes

Let the battle commence! ... The ‘current’ Sugababes have begun fighting a legal battle over ownership of the bands name.
Earlier this year former band member Mutya Buena had applied to the European Trademarks Authority for ownership of the band's moniker.
The present lineup (consisting of Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen.) have now filed a notice of opposition to Buena's claim, along with their record label Island Records.
In a letter to the EU Trademarks Authority, Universal's Island Records wrote that the “similarity of the goods and services” provided by Buena would mean there would be "a likelihood of confusion on the part of the public”.
If her application is successful, it would mean that she could use the Sugababes name on goods such as CDs, DVDs and books.
Can’t wait to watch this one unfold...

Jay-Z

Jay-Z has confirmed that he will release a FOURTH greatest hits album this summer... He announced plans for the new compilation (titled ‘The Hits Collection Vol. 1’) on his official website, although the final track listing is yet to be announced.
Jay-Z has previously released three official greatest hits LPs. ‘Chapter One: Greatest Hits’ was released in 2002, followed by ‘Bring It On: The Best Of Jay-Z’ a year later, and ‘Greatest Hits’, released in 2006.
‘The Hits Collection Vol. 1’ will be released on June 29... – Why? is the first thing that springs to my mind!

Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland has insisted that she has not forgotten about her urban roots, saying that her new album is still R&B influenced...
Kelly is gearing up to release her new album in the summer after signing a new record deal with Universal Motown, she revealed that the album is dance-inspired but can still be described as an ‘urban’ record.
Discussing her new record deal with Yahoo, she said: “I'm settling in very well. I love the team, they are so on it, so prompt and ready and just passionate. You appreciate that as an artist, because when one sees your vision and you [both] click, that's half the battle to me!”
Kelly Rowland also revealed the title of one of the album's tracks, called ‘Grown Ass Woman’, which she described as an R&B song written by Ne-Yo.
She explained: “I have a record on there I love called ‘Grown Ass Woman’ - it's my favourite. [Ne-Yo] wrote three smashes [for the album], and this was one of them... “Dance inspired this record completely. But I will definitely say that I did not forget about my urban roots nor could I ever. That is one of the reasons why I'm here. I won't let you down with this record, trust me.”
Can’t wait to hear this, i loved her last album!

Lady GaGa

Lady GaGa is swapping carrier and has reportedly decided to apply for a hat-making internship... according to a national newspaper she will put her music career on hold for a period to pursue the project, which means she will also have to relocate to London.
“GaGa's crazy about the idea. Philip Treacy agreed to give her an internship when they met at the Brit Awards. She hopes to take him up on the offer this summer,” a source told the newspaper... A spokesperson for Treacy confirmed: “Lady GaGa has requested an internship but Philip will have to check her sewing skills first,”
Lady GaGa was also recently unveiled as the new creative director of Polaroid.

Cavalia adds more dates to uptown run

Cavalia, the equestrian and performing arts show, has extended its stay in Charlotte through Friday, May 28. Originally, the show had announced that it would close on May 14 -- although adding weeks is typical for Cavalia, which generally stays in a city until ticket sales indicate demand is slowing down.

Tickets can be purchased here, or at the box office at Morehead and Clarkson streets, just west of Bank of America Stadium.

To celebrate its 1,500th performance, a Buy-3-Get-1-Free deal is going on now if you purchase in person at the box office or by phone at 1-866-999-8111. You just need to mention the promotion code, which is "horse."

One other note: Cavalia is due in New Jersey for a run that starts June 9, so it's almost certainly not going to be extended in Charlotte beyond the 28th.

Brooklyn Decker, Glamour girl

Brooklyn Decker has landed another magazine cover.

The 5-foot-9, 23-year-old swimsuit model is striking (as usual) in a yellow bikini on the cover of the June issue of Glamour, which also features models Crystal Renn and Alessandra Ambrosio.

The magazine's cover spread features its "Kind of Swimsuit Issue, which spotlights the three beauties but also includes swimsuit ideas for women of various shapes and sizes -- including "athletic," "big-bottomed," "short-torsoed," "pear-shaped" ladies, and more.

In Decker's two-page spread, the blonde wears a black and white striped bikini and a revealing black and blue one-piece. She's asked whether it was hard to find her place in modeling because she doesn't have a rail-thin build. Her reply: "I got successful once I accepted I'm athletic, I have boobs. I set my own standard."

Mrs. Andy Roddick -- who appeared earlier this year on the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue -- also reveals that she lives in Brooklyn and was named after a horse called Brook.

Decker is currently working on a movie with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston titled "Just Go For It," which is being shot in Hawaii.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry will perform her new single ‘California Gurls’ at the MTV Movie Awards.
Katy joins fellow pop star Christina Aguilera on the show’s performance line-up... “I'm proud to represent the West Coast at the MTV Movie Awards in the magical glow of the Hollywood sign with my new single ‘California Gurls’. I hope it will be the theme song to a lot of summer loving; I know it will in my house,” she said.
The show goes out on TV on 6th June – Let’s hope this single lives up to all the hype...

The Events Industry is Professionalising

Over the past decade festivals and events have been one of the fastest growing areas of the world leisure industry.
During that decade, Australia has hosted many of the major events on the global calendar; from an Olympics and a Commonwealth Games, to World Youth Day and the APEC summit.
We are all tired of the ‘interruptions’ of traditional media like television. Events provide us with those experiences we desire, on our terms and in our time. Events are something created collectively with a human voice: by people and for people. That’s why they have become so popular in recent times.
With the continued rise in popularity of events, there is growing demand for the right kind of people to make them happen. World class events require the very best talent: trained, experienced and passionate about becoming the masters of this unique medium.
As a consequence, the Events Industry is professionalising like never before. Event employers are increasingly seeking staff with formal qualifications and experience as they face the challenges of developing and organising increasingly sophisticated events.
To meet this demand for people with practical skills training, Event Management Training Australia runs a Diploma in Event Management with Public Relations in Sydney. Starting on July 21st 2010, the diploma runs over 10 weeks and has been designed to provide participants with the practical skills essential for those working or planning to work in this sector.
If you’re interested in learning more about this growing profession, and the Diploma of Event Management, contact Event Management Training Australia on 03 9650 1066 or visit our website: http://www.eventtrainingaus.com.au/event_management_sydney_index.php

Boy George

Oh dear ... Boy George has slammed the quality of last night's TV biopic ‘Worried About The Boy’
He took to Twitter at the time of the show was broadcast posting that it was “badly written”... “It's on in the background, the make-up is the best thing about it,” he said, ... “Verdict, beautifully shot & styled but badly written, it lacks heart and soul!”
However, critics were generally positive about the show, with The Daily Telegraph saying: “a stunning, sensitive and surprisingly moving production”
Some internet bloggers also praised Mathew Horne's “outstanding” portrayal of drummer Jon Moss.
I have it recorded and will watch it at some point this week (around the Faithless, Alicia Keys & Rihanna concerts and French class) Oh and work of course!

Nelly

Nelly is really pulling out the phone book for collaborations for his new album ‘5.0’ he has reportedly recruited Usher and Jamie Foxx.
Already reports say he’s teamed up with: Kelly Rowland, Janet Jackson, P Diddy and Akon for his sixth album.
