‘Guns ‘n’ Roses’ guitarist ‘Slash’ has just signed a new solo record deal.
Slash has so far managed to get: Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Grohl, Fergie and Cypress Hill to collaborate on tracks for the album, which is due to be release in early 2010.
Slash’s first single “Sahara” is due to be released next week, and will be accompanied by a new version of Guns ‘n' Roses hit “Paradise City”, which includes vocals from Fergie.

VV Brown - Leave

Avec Leave, VV Brown est pour moi l'une des belles surprises de cet automne. Un des titres que j'écoute le plus ces jours-ci du moins (sorti en Angleterre en mars).

VV Brown en quelques mots : 26 ans. Parolière, compositrice, interprète, productrice, multi-instrumentiste. Belle voix, chaude et éraillée (à la Duffy, en plus rock'n'roll). Smart et délurée. Indé et très pop.


Retenez son nom, on va forcément parler d'elle dans les semaines à venir : l'album "Travelling Like The Light" est attendu pour la fin de l'année chez nous et ce single, Leave, a été choisi pour la dernière campagne TV de la BNP Paribas.

I don’t know what’s happened to Shakira since the release of her last album: “Oral fixation Vol.2” back in 2005 and her current “She wolf” but she’s certainly come back with a bang in the ole sexier department!
Not satisfied with (the still shocking) video for “She wolf” she’s back with her new single “Did it again” and this time it involves … a sauna and a group of women! As well as some more rather raunchy acrobatic moves…

Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole has signed a record deal to release her solo album in the U.S.
Her album “3 Word” (which is currently No.1 in the UK) is expected to be released through Interscope early next year. According to the News Of The World, Cheryl will release her collaboration with Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am, “3 Words”, as the first single in the U.S (That particular single is currently No.26 in the U.K)
“The Interscope deal is huge for Cheryl, her band ‘Girls Aloud’ have never released a single there,” a source told the newspaper.
Cheryl Cole's debut solo single became the fastest selling single of the year in the U.K. shifting over 290,000 copies in its first week. And her album sold a massive 125,000 copies last week …

The Spice Girls

The Spice Girls are reportedly going to reform to launch the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Simon Fuller (who was the driving force who put together The Spice Girls), told the Sunday Mirror that demand for the Spice Girls remained high. “They stand for so much in British music history and I can't think of a better time for them to get back together for another performance” he said.
The Spice Girls got together in 1994 and went on to sell more than 70 million records worldwide before splitting in 2000.
A reunion tour last year earnt them more than £40 million, Simon Fuller hinted that a final jaunt could be on the cards. “They will not want to be performing hits like 'Wannabe' in their 40s, but it's amazing how often people talk about another reunion. And I think if they do it, it’s going to be in 2012,”
I personally can’t wait if it’s true! – They’re a fantastic group!
