Blue

Blue have expressed their disappointment after one of their new tracks leaked online.
Blue are currently working on new material, which Duncan James confirmed would be released next year along with a tour.
On his Twitter account Simon Webbe wrote: “Just found out blue demo has been leaked onto YouTube, not cool! ... People who do that sort of thing have no respect for the writer, producer, Blue and most of all music.... its straight stealing....”
Lee Ryan added: “It sucks that blues new songs are out there already! It really ruins the anticipation and excitement of music and I feel this is very sad!”
Meanwhile Duncan said: “Found out that some of the new blue demo's have leaked out onto the net and don't understand how!!!! WTF!”

Boyzone

Ronan Keating has asked fans what they think the next Boyzone single should be... Ronan wrote: “Morning, quick question. If the Boyz and I were going to release another single off Brother. What would you like it to be?”
Boyzone were supposed to have cancelled any further single release from the album their last single ‘Love is a hurricane’ reached No.44 in the UK singles chart.

Corinne Bailey Rae concert = canceled

Due to "a scheduling conflict," the Corinne Bailey Rae concert that was slated for The Fillmore Charlotte on Sept. 8 has been cancelled. Tickets purchased online or over the phone will be automatically refunded. If you bought them from a box office, you can go back for a refund beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 4). Tom Jones

According to a national newspaper today Tom Jones was paid a MASSIVE £3.1 million to perform at a charity gig...
Tom was paid the sum for a 90-minute set at the 62nd Red Cross Ball in Monaco last week, although he was said to have given a large percentage of his fee to charity
A newspaper source said: “It was a wonderful evening. Tom and his band played some of his greatest hits, including 'It's Not Unusual', 'Sex Bomb', 'Green, Green Grass of Home' and 'Kiss', and had everyone up on their feet dancing, throwing napkins and flowers at him during the crescendo.”

The amount beats the £2.6 million fee Elton John was rumoured to have earned singing for a Russian tycoon last year.

Black Eyed Peas

Will.i.am has revealed that the new Black Eyed Peas album will be ‘positive’ and ‘feel-good’.
Discussing the new album (titled ‘The Beginning’) Will.i.am said “It symbolises growth, new beginnings and starts, a fresh new perspective... “It's a positive, feel-good [album] at the time where there's question marks and uncertainty. People want to be reminded that it's going to be all right.”
He also confirmed that the album will be out by the end of the year.

Linkin Park - The Catalyst

C'est ce soir, aux alentours de 20h (heure française) que Linkin Park a révélé son nouveau single : The Catalyst.

The Catalyst : prélude de l'album "A Thousand Suns" (sortie le 14 septembre), mais très loin d'être un follow-up de ce qui aura été leur plus gros succès aux Etats-Unis après In The End : l'excellentissime New Divide (perso, j'en suis à 187 écoutes sur mon iPod en un an). Après la B.O. de "Transformers 3", c'est donc celle du blockbuster vidéo ludique "Medal Of Honor" qu'ils s'offrent avec ce titre (sortie le 14 octobre, les préventes explosent déjà).

Puissant, ambitieux, riche. Voilà comment en 3 mots je résumerais The Catalyst. Très curieux à la première écoute, c'est au final ce qui vous accroche l'oreille au début qui le rend terriblement fort et addictif.

Linkin Park opère un drôle de retour, mais sacrément réussi. On croirait en un mix de "Meteora" et "Minutes To Midnight" pour le côté tout-peut-arriver (d'une chanson à l'autre, MTM était génialement fou). Limite si on s'attend pas à ce que le prochain single soit catégoriquement différent.

Le groupe propose d'ailleurs à tout acheteur d'un de leur produits dérivés sur LinkinPark.com de se voir remettre une copie digitale de l'album à sa sortie ("même si vous achetez un T-Shirt" promet le leader Mike Shinoda). N'empêche qu'il faut attendre le 14 septembre. Un mois et demi donc. Ca va être long.
