Eurovision Song Contest

The excitement is starting to build as RTÉ has today announced the five finalists for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.
The songs were chosen by a jury, (chaired by former Eurovision winner Linda Martin)
The 5 songs were chosen from almost 300 entries submitted from both Ireland and abroad, and you’ll be able to see them performed on ‘The Late Late Show Eurosong Special’ on 5 March.
The five songs selected for Eurosong 2010 are:

1) Baby, Nothing's Wrong - Performed by Michael Graham
2) Does Heaven Need Much More? - Performed by Leanne Moore
3) Fashion Queen - Performed by Monika Ivkic

4) It's For You - Performed by Niamh Kavanagh
5) River of Silence - Performed by Lee Bradshaw

During 'The Late Late Show Eurosong Special' the winner, who will represent Ireland at this year's 'Eurovision', will be decided by 50% regional jury vote and 50% public televote which replicates the recent change to the rules in the 'Eurovision Song Contest' itself.
This year Eurovision semi-final is due to take place on 27th May and the grand final on 29th May.
Can’t wait – LOVE the Eurovision!
