Goldfrapp

Good on Goldfrapp is all i have to say!
They’ve have announced that they will release their new single on tape, (for all you ‘younger’ folk CDs ... sorry i mean downloads weren’t always they way to get music)
Goldfrapp new single ‘Alive’ is the second from their latest album ‘Head First’, which reached No.6 in the UK album chart last week.
The single will be released in a limited tape edition through independent stores in aid of ‘Record Store Day’ on 17th April.
‘Record Store Day’ marks one day where independently-owned record stores celebrate music, with many artists often releasing their music in old formats.

A little known fact for all you folk that don’t remember... cassette singles were introduced in 1978 and at their peak in 1995 22 million tapes were sold, but sales quickly declined, with just 715 purchased in 2007.

Amy Winehouse

Nice pay day if you can get it huh ... Amy Winehouse has reportedly received a £55,000 ($83,087) bonus after her song ‘Rehab’ was used in hit TV show ‘Glee’.
According toa national newspaper Amy was paid more than all of the other artists who have had their music featured in the show.
‘Rehab’ was showcased in the pilot episode of ‘Glee’ after the show's vocal group New Directions went to see rival club Vocal Adrenaline perform.
After the show aired, sales of the single were boosted as ‘Glee’ fans downloaded the track.
A source said: “Amy was chuffed. She loves the show and watches religiously. She is also well aware of how popular ‘Glee’ makes tracks, and is thrilled to be re-entering the charts.”
In a Twitter post last month, Amy Winehouse posted that ‘Glee’ is “cool” and “funny s**t”...

I have so far managed to keep myself out of that 'Glee' bubble, but i can say that every version i’ve heard them sing (Via The UK Top 40) has certainly been ‘s**t’ ...

Adam Rickitt

Can you believe it ...? Adam Rickitt has announced that he plans to release new music later this year (no i can’t believe it either!)
Adam is currently working on New Zealand soap ‘Shortland Street’ but was recently told that his character Kieran Mitchell is to be written out later this year.
Speaking on his video blog Adam said: “Loads of you have often emailed me in the past asking me if I'll ever do the music thing again, and I've always been a bit cagey about answering because I've always fancied a tickle at it... “An opportunity arose a while ago, and I'm grasping it basically. This summer in the UK and Europe to start off with, but then coming to New Zealand and Australia after that, I'm going to be doing some music.
“I've already recorded some songs. I've been working with some huge producers. It's freaking me out!”

Rage Against The Machine

Here’s something that is completely the opposite sides of the spectrum ... Rage Against The Machine want Susan Boyle to perform with them this summer at their free gig in London! – YES you heard right, Susan Boyle!
Zack de la Rocha told a national newspaper “I really hope there are no hard feelings with Simon [Cowell]. He seemed to think that it was a bullying campaign but the truth is the British people wanted a change.... “I don't think anybody has heard anything of that Joe guy since Christmas, but we have nothing against him. The truth is Simon's shows occasionally produce talent.”
He added: “We love Susan Boyle, she is hot. To show there are no hard feelings we would like her to perform with us on stage this summer... “he is a great vocalist and we would love to perform ‘Killing In The Name’ with her. Everybody knows her in the US and she can add her vocals to anything. It would be an honor for us.” – Now that i would LOVE to hear ... Lmao!

JLS

JLS have announced plans to record their second record in the US.
The boys said that they intend to go to the States to work with a number of producers later this year, as part of an itinerary to crack America
Band member Marvin Humes said “It's likely we're going to be recording some tracks for our album over there - that's where the producers are based... “Taio Cruz has had a lot of success, Jay Sean has had a lot of success - it seems like a good time for Brits at the moment.”
Speaking about artists that they’d like to collaborate with he said “Jay-Z we'd love to collaborate with, Beyoncé we'd love to collaborate with, Ne-Yo we'd love to collaborate with - there are so many great artists.”
He wouldn’t speak thought who the band have already secured for their second album, which is expected later this year.

How excited are you about "Glee"?

You've memorized all of Sue Sylvester's best lines. You've practiced singing "Take a Bow" into your hairbrush while staring into the mirror. You're so excited for April 13 that you can hardly get through a day without re-watching this.

Sound like someone you know? Good! Because in honor of the insanely popular Fox TV series, "Glee" -- which returns for nine new episodes next month -- I'm trying to track down some of the show's biggest Charlotte-area fans so I can get their answer to one simple question: Why do you love this show so much??

If you're a "Gleek" (or know someone who is), please e-mail me at tjanes@charlotteobserver.com ASAP ... and you might wind up being a part of a "Glee"-focused story that will appear in an upcoming edition of The Charlotte Observer!

Ludacris

One call to ME – that’s all it woulda took! And i’d of told Ludacris that Lauryn Hill would never agree to record on his (or anyones) album for that matter... purely due to her reputation!

Ludacris revealed that he was disappointed at not being able to convince Lauryn Hill to collaborate on a track for his latest album. (Suprise!)

A string of hot female stars have contributed to his new album including: Eve and Lil Kim but Lauryn Hill said ‘no’ (surprisingly)

Ludacris is quoted as saying “I think Lauryn Hill is like extremely talented and I can say I did try to do that (organise a duet), it just didn't work itself out.” ... i wonder why...?

Lauryn’s debut album sold a massive 8 MILLION in America ALONE! (Netting her $25 MILLION in record sales and touring) and thats on top of the 25 MILLION albums that she sold with one somewhat famous album called: ‘The Score’ as part of ‘The Fugees’

Lauryn Hill hasn’t released an album of new material since 1998's!

Whatever people think of her in her private life, you can’t deny that the below is pure genius!

Click to listen to her massive hit ‘Ex Factor’: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSQq_mU7jUg

Simon Cowell

Oh dear, Poor Simon Cowell! It certainly is a ‘thumbs down’ in ‘Syco’ HQ ‘cos at least 40 (that's right 40) more tracks have leaked online.
The record company, (owned by Simon Cowell), has already been the subject of hackers after unreleased demos from artists like: Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis appeared on the internet last year.
A national newspaper reports that at least 14 more un-releasedLeona Lewis tracks and a MASSIVE 26 of Alexandra Burke's un-released songs have now appeared on filesharing websites overnight.
Earlier this month, it emerged that Simon Cowell had asked the FBI to investigate the leaks.
At the time, a Syco spokesperson said: “Hacking and stealing of songs is a real issue for many artists. We are doing everything we can to catch those behind this.” ...
Really, ‘cos this is a HUGE breach of security...

Beyoncé

Oh dear... the fat cat’s have struck again!
Sony has reportedly blocked the content on Beyoncé's official YouTube page in the US.
According to ‘E! News’, the record label has removed the star’s videos and replaced them with a copyright infringement message.
When users try to play the videos, they receive the message: “This video contains content from Sony Music Entertainment, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.”
It is unclear when the videos will be available for American fans to view again.

Lady GaGa's & Beyoncé video ‘Telephone’ recently topped over A BILLION online hits.

Miley Cyrus

YES YES YES YES ... Today’s a good day!
Miley Cyrus has confirmed that she is planning to stop making music! (Yip, your heard me right, i kid you not!) Miley recently admitted that she has become disillusioned with the music industry.
She told ‘E! News’ that she wants to focus more on an acting career.
“I've got a record coming out in June and then I'm done,” she revealed. “I just want to work in movies. That's what I like and that's what I want to be doing.” ... The music sence has now just got a little better ... well, from June!

Intimidated? You should be.

Thrill-seekers who got a sneak peek Friday at the Carowinds’ brand-new Dale Earnhardt-themed “Intimidator” ride weren’t just on a literal roller coaster, but an emotional one as well.

Among the feelings elicited by what’s billed as the tallest, fastest and longest coaster in the Southeast:

Regret. “About halfway up, I thought we’d made a mistake,” said Rock Hill resident Mike Daly, 62. The ride starts with a long, slow climb to a huge initial drop, which measures 211 feet and dives at a 74-degree angle.

Disgust. “I had to close my mouth because I wasn’t feeling too good,” said Colton Clyburn, 11, also of Rock Hill. (He ended up reboarding at least two more times after that.)

Fear. Said Kelsey Peigler, a 17-year-old Olympic High School student: “I thought I was gonna fall out of my seat!”

The $23 million steel coaster – which boasts almost a mile of track and surges to speeds up to 80 mph – is being unveiled today, when Carowinds opens for the season.

Oh, and just remember: Once the safety restraint locks into place and the train begins to glide forward, you’re not getting off the ride for another 3 minutes and 33 seconds. No matter how much or how loud you scream.

Carowinds theme park is open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. today and from 10 to 6 Sunday. Tickets are $22-$55. Details: 704-588-2600; www.carowinds.com.

Corinne Bailey Rae

Corinne Bailey Rae has just confirmed that she will be supporting Stevie Wonder on his European tour!
“I have met him a few times and he is so funny and humble,” she told a national newspaper ...”"He’s had a big influence on me. Just getting to see him play again is going to be great, but the fact that I have got there by playing my music and he asked me is incredible.” ... “should be good! I just got Corinne’s new album yesterday... If it's any good i'll let ye know!

Keisha Buchanan

Former Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan is rumored to be in talks to sign up with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label ~ The news comes following rumors that her ex-band mates have been quietly dropped by their US record company (and thier new album 'sweet 7' failed to make the UK Top.10)!
Keisha has been busy working on a solo album since being forced outta the Sugababes last September.
According to a national newspaper “Jay is serious about getting her on board. They hit it off at the Brits after-party in London.” ... Watch this space!

Live Nation

This is good news for those who’ve been stung by fraudulent concert tickets, but bad news for those who buy tickets from a third party...
Live Nation have unveiled proposals to scrap paper tickets in favor of digital wristbands at future UK festivals... The concert promoter hopes to combat touts and fake ticketing scams with its unique “smart chip” devices, which will initially be aimed at large-scale outdoor music events. Live Nation UK spokesperson John Probyn told ‘Newsbeat’: “Your ticket won't be a paper ticket, it'll be a wristband unique to you.”
Plans to customize each ticket to the customer would also stop the online sales of tickets via secondary markets.
As the world's biggest concert promoter, Live Nation organizes some of music's biggest annual events, including London's Wireless Festival.

He's got plenty of 'Jersey' pride now

Rick Elice was born in Manhattan, and as a kid growing up in New York, he didn’t care much for New Jersey.

He only had to put up with the Garden State when his parents would make the 45-mile drive down to see his aunt and uncle’s family in Middletown. But he hated it.

“New Jersey was always associated, for me, with very, very bad smells, very, very claustrophobic car rides, and varying degrees of nausea because of the smells and the car rides,” Elice says.

Then he co-wrote “Jersey Boys” with Marshall Brickman. And now?

“Oh,” he says, “it’s my favorite place in the whole world!”

The hugely successful and popular Broadway musical – which begins an all-but-sold-out three-week run at Belk Theater in Charlotte on Wednesday – centers on the rise and fall of The Four Seasons. The pop-rock group was founded by Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio in Newark, N.J.

Elice and Brickman wrote the book for the show and received a Tony Award nomination in 2006 for their efforts, but Elice says it’s the music that ultimately makes the play work.

“The connection that I see in the theater between people and the songs is really palpable, and very, very moving, and blasts the show into that rarefied place of real smash hit. I’d like to take credit for it … but the fact is, when those songs start coming, the audience goes into almost like a feeding frenzy.

“I imagine that almost anybody could have written this show, and I’m just glad that we did.”

In Sunday’s Carolina Living section in the Charlotte Observer, hear more from Elice and get the dirt on N.J. from four real-life Jersey boys.

O.A.R. plans another visit to Charlotte

O.A.R. has announced it will return to the Uptown Amphitheatre at The N.C. Music Factory on Friday, Aug. 13. The rock band also played the outdoor stage there in October.

Fans will not only hear hits like "Shattered," "That Was a Crazy Game of Poker," and "This Town," but they will also be treated to brand-new music from O.A.R.'s forthcoming seventh studio album. Citizen Cope will open the show.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 16 at LiveNation.com, the amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster, or charge-by-phone (1-800-745-3000).

World Cup Kick-off Concert

The list for the performers performing at this year’s opening of FIFA World Cup Kick-off Concert in South Africa keeps getting bigger and bigger!
The latest artist to be added is... Cheryl Cole, Cheryl is currently promoting her new single ‘Parachute’ in Paris.

So far: Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Shakira and John Legend will also perform at the event, which celebrates the start of the World Cup... The concert will be held at Johannesburg's Orlando Stadium on 10th June. (Should be a great show!)

Hello à tous,

Deux petites semaines de black-out en prévision... Mais je reviens vite avec des surprises !

Merci de votre fidélité et à dans deux semaines !

Benjamin

Lady GaGa

Workaholic Lady GaGa has reportedly chosen a director for her next video... (Even though we’ve only just seen her current video last week!)
But in true Gaga form she’s already be planning her next video... According to ‘Styleite’, the video for her next single ‘Alejandro’ will be directed by fashion photographer Steven Klein.
For those who’ve never heard of him, Steven Klein is best known for his advertising campaigns with Calvin Klein, D&G and Alexander McQueen, and has also photographed Madonna and Britney Spears.
Lady Gaga’s videos are becoming a must watch event ... Kinda like Michael Jackson’s used to be huh...?

Robbie Williams

Okay, it’s actually started, it’s time to cover your ears everyone ‘cos if the rumors are true (which they probably are) ‘3 lions’ is being re-recorded .... AGAIN!
According to a national newspaper Robbie Williams has reportedly visited Sarm Studios in Notting Hill to help record an updated version of the song.
Robbie has teamed up with Lightning Seeds star Ian Broudie on the track... “Ian's been working on the song for a couple of months and was at Sarm Studios when Robbie happened to be there doing work” ... “Robbie bumped into Ian and they decided to team up. They were really pleased with the results.”
A spokesperson for the singer added: “Robbie has contributed to the ‘3 Lions’ track and, together with his involvement in the Soccer Aid celebrity soccer match in June, is happy to be involved.”
‘3 Lions’, which was originally performed by Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, went to No.1 in 1996 and 1998 (and re-issued for the last World Cup) earlier this year though Frank Skinner ruled out re-releasing the track, saying that they “couldn't get any more blood out of that stone”...
Please don't bother releasing it ... It's CRAP!

Kelis

Kelis has revealed that she didn't expect her new single ‘Acapella’ to be released (which make you wonder just how much control she has of her own music ...?)
Kelis has already topped the US Billboard Dance & Club Songs chart with the song.
“I knew that I loved it, and I felt really good about it,” she said to ‘MTV’... “It's exciting to see that people feel what you feel. That's always encouraging. But I had no idea that that would happen that quickly like that. I just knew that the song felt really real for me.”
Kelis worked with David Guetta on the track, admitted that she initially forgot about the song... She continued: “I've known Guetta for a long time just as a DJ in France, just partying in Paris and just being out there... “I didn't even know he was doing a record until a friend of mine sent me some beats, and he was like,’'Guetta would love for you to write something for his album.’ ... “I just started writing to a bunch of them, and I just heard this beat, and there was no melody to it. It was just a beat. I just had this melody that came to me right away, so I just laid this melody down really quick and just forgot about it and kept moving and doing stuff.”

‘Acapella’ will be released on 26th April. I actually really like this track!

Lady Gaga

I was flicking through my i-pod this morning and come across another FANASTIC album track from none other than the brilliant Lady Gaga called ‘Dance in the dark’
Crank up the volume and dance (even if you can’t dance!) to this brilliant song! – You have to admit, Lady Gaga is just amazing at turning out great dance / pop tunes...

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera has revealed the title of her new single: ‘Not Myself Tonight’ from her new album ‘Bionic’
Her website also displays a timer, counting down the hours and minutes before the song's premiere... CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR IT!

Jason Derulo

Jason Derulo has revealed that he is about to collaborate with Madonna!
“I'm about to work with Madonna, and I've been watching her for years,” he told a US magazine... “I would love to be part of another reinvention. She's been able to reinvent herself time and time again. I'll probably be a part of that.”
He also revealed that going on tour Lady GaGa recently was “awesome”... “She actually said something which was really, really cool,” he revealed. “She looked me in my eyes and said, ‘Jason, I've worked with a lot of talented people, I've seen a lot of talented people, but you're special. You're a star’. That meant a lot coming from her.”

Kings of Leon

The Kings of Leon album: ‘Only by the night’ has become the UK's highest selling digital album of all time!
It’s now the only UK album to sell over 250,000 copies digitally
Kings Of Leon's closest competition comes from Lady Gaga, whose debut album ‘The Fame’ is likely to pass 200,000 downloads within the next month.
Official Charts Company managing director Martin Talbot said: “This is an incredible achievement by Kings Of Leon, one of the few acts in recent years to have crossed over from true alternative territory into the mainstream... “To date, just 12 albums have passed the 100,000 download mark, but the explosive success of Kings Of Leon illustrates the growing popularity of album downloading among music fans, which has been steadily increasing over the past three years.”

The biggest selling digital albums in the UK are as follows:
1: King of Leon – ‘Only by the night’
2: Lady Gaga – ‘The Fame’
3: Florence + The Machine – ‘Lings’
4: Lily Allen – ‘It’s not me, it’s you’
5: Coldplay – ‘Viva La Vida or Death to all his friends’
6: Duffy – ‘Rockferry’
7: Amy Winehouse - ‘Back To Black’
8: Black Eyed Peas – ‘The E.N.D’
9: The Script – ‘The Script’
10: Beyoncè – ‘I am Sasha Fierce’

100th anniversary of 1st Aussie flight!

The 100th anniversary of powered flight in Australia fell yesterday, but until now very few people could have named Australia’s first aviator. It was Harry Houdini, American master magician and escapologist.

Houdini specialised in astounding feats such as: escaping from a sealed milk can filled with water; getting out of a straitjacket while suspended upside down from a crane atop a high building; being buried alive and digging his way out; escaping from a packing crate after being lowered into New York’s East River. He was also a pioneer aviator

Get Star Struck With BridgeClimb

BridgeClimb are providing an exclusive opportunity to experience a Climb on the Sydney Harbour Bridge during Earth Hour.

Led by Fred Watson, the astronomer in charge of the Anglo-Australian Observatory, climbers will have the rare opportunity to watch in awe from the top of the Bridge as the lights switch off in Sydney and the city’s sky illuminates with stars.

Earth Hour is on Saturday, 27 March from 8:30pm – 9:30pm, when homes and businesses across Sydney will switch off their lights to show their support for action on climate change.

Watson will provide expert guided commentary on astronomy for the climbers without the usual light pollution that makes it almost impossible to stargaze in the beautiful city of Sydney.

“Light pollution is caused by inefficient artificial lighting illuminating the sky so that fainter astronomical objects, like stars, are hard to see or disappear altogether,” the award winning Watson said.

Watson then went on to comment that “"The main thing is to…get away from places where there is a concentration of light, so Earth Hour will be the perfect opportunity to catch a glimpse of our city’s night sky at its best".

This exclusive Climb will be on The Bridge Climb and will start at 6:45pm. Tickets are $188 each, with limited spots available. To take advantage of this rare opportunity, please call the ticket hotline on (02) 8274 7777.

To book a climb at another time on one of our three amazing climbs, The Bridge Climb, The Discovery Climb or our newest climb, The Express Climb, please visit www.bridgeclimb.com.

Gorillaz have just announced two live shows at London's Camden Roundhouse on 29th and 30th April.

The setlist will feature tracks from the band's new album ‘Plastic Beach’, as well as previous hits from ‘Demon Days’
Music on the night will be played by Damon Albarn, Bashy, De La Soul, Mick Jones, Kano, Little Dragon, Mos Def, National Orchestra for Arabic Music, Gruff Rhys, Shaun Ryder, Paul Simonon and Bobby Womack... Tickets cost £45 and are on sale from Friday, March 26 at 9am.

Robbie Williams

Oh dear ... Robbie Williams has reportedly annoyed his management by refusing to commit to a tour.
According to a national newspaper Robbie’s bosses have started making plans for a series of concerts that were due to start in November, but Robbie Williams remains unconvinced by the idea.
A source is quoted as saying: “Tempers are fraying because Robbie is non-committal at the moment. He's made no secret that he doesn't want to tour this time round but his management firm, IE Management, are keen to get him out after such a successful comeback... “He is beginning to come round to the idea but is still unsure. People are becoming restless.”
It is thought that Robbie Williams is feeling nervous about the proposal because he suffers from stage fright and fears that a tour could go wrong.
His last tour was back in 2006, (and i’m still waiting for my ‘free’ concert that he promised all his fans that went to the gig in Croke Park!)
Still... i’ve seen him 3 times in concert and everyone has been brilliant!

Voici l'originale...

...et le remix avec Pitbull !

Professor Green

One of my favourite tracks at the moment is: Professor Green Featuring ... Ed Drewett ‘I need you tonight’
This INXS sample is just fantastic, although the first time i heard it i wasn’t sure if a classic song like that should be touch, however on the second hearing i was like ‘this is genius’.
The song is out on 12th April in the UK

Lee Ryan

Lee Ryan has revealed that he has signed a new record deal. (Remember him... He’s the guy from ‘Blue’)
He has joined label ‘Geffen’ to produce an album of dance music... Lee say’s “I grew up in Blue, but I became an adult when I left,”... “I've exorcised some demons and hope people understand me better after listening.”
He added: “I'm not taking myself too seriously, though - I still want people to dance to these songs.”
Lee Ryan's first single ‘Secret Love’ is scheduled for release on 3rd May.

Susan Boyle

Now here’s a birthday present bound to put a smile on anyone’s face... according to a Sunday newspaper Susan Boyle will receive £4m on her birthday, for international appearances and LP sales.
The massive windfall will go into her bank account on 1st April when Susan turns 49.
Susan Boyle is about to embark on a tour of Japan and Australia. Friends believe that one of her first purchases will be a more luxurious house in her West Lothian hometown of Blackburn.
A friend said: “People have thought of Susan as a millionaire for months already because her album was launched in November but she hasn't got it yet. Up until now, her management team have made sure she never wanted for anything, but this is her long-awaited payday finally arriving.”
Susan Boyle's album ‘I Dreamed a dream’ has sold more than 8.5 MILLION copies worldwide to date.

UK Charts

The queen bee has done it again... Lady Gaga goes up to No.1 in the singles chart with her collaboration with Beyoncé.
Lady Gaga also climbs four places to go back to No.1 for the gazilianth time. (and despite selling over 4 MILLION albums in the UK, The Sugababe’s new album ‘Sweet 7’ stumbled into the cart at a miserable No.14 ... Cue the breakup...?)

Top 5 U.K. Singles:
5: Ellie Goulding – ‘Starry eyed’
4: Justin Bieber & Ludacris – ‘Baby’
3: Rihanna – “Rudeboy’

Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland has revealed that her third album has been inspired by disco. (Seems alot of artist this year will be going down the disco route)
Kelly say’s “I'm trying to take a page from the amazing books of Donna Summer and Diana Ross,” she said...
“They were so powerful and glam on stage and such a voice for women. I looked at them to take inspiration from and then thought of a way to make it my own. I'm also taking inspiration from my peers like will.i.am, who I think has done a great job.”
Kelly Rowland also revealed that she is excited about her collaborations with other stars.
“Ne-Yo has written songs for me,”... “It makes me so happy because they are incredible. He thinks about the story and the artist. He wants to talk about where they are mentally. That's what makes him so incredibly great. “Will.i.am and I have spoken and he's making time for little old me. He's just as excited to get in the studio as I am. David [Guetta]'s on the record and we had to go back for our formula because that worked so well for me. I also want to get P Diddy on the album too. It's a great list of people and the record has come together so beautifully.”
Shaping up to be as good as her last ‘Ms. Kelly’ i can’t wait!

Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert’s new single: ‘For your entertainment’ is nothing but brilliant!
Everyone who knows me knows I’m a huge fan of ‘American Idol’ and this guy defiantly should of won! (He’s the male Lady Gaga) I’ve had is album on my i-pod for months and i recommend everyone to buy it!

AC/DC

Now here’s a reason for cancelling a concert that i’ve never heard before ... AC/DCs forthcoming show in Austria could be cancelled over huge concerns that the site may contain unexploded bombs!
According to ‘ORF’ (I’d never heard of ‘em either....) the concert which is suppose to take place on 22nd May at the Wels airfield is in doubt as authorities fear that the area, (which was bombed by allied aircraft in World War II), still houses undetonated explosives!
Hermann Wimmer, the deputy mayor of Wels, confirmed that “no decision will be taken until a full assessment has been made by bomb disposal experts” – you gotta admit, it’s pretty cool! (even if it goes ahead, it’s still a hell of a story to tell the grand kids... Lol)

Chris Brown & Eva Simons

Okay listen up!
I was gonna save this post for later in the summer, but screw it, you’ll be dancing to it long before it hits the dance floors (or be asking the DJ to spin it) ... and you can say you heard it here before eveyone else!
Whatever you think of Chris Brown push that to one side and listen to this fantastic hook up he’s done with the ‘new Rihanna’ (my prediction) Eva Simons to come up with one of the best dance songs of this year called ‘Pass out’

I’ve been spinning this since Christmas and i just can’t get enough of it!

Robyn

OMG ... Okay i know that waiting up to 3 years before an artist releases another album an sometimes feel like a life time, but in fairness they normally go on tour, but now Robyn is taking things to another level by revealing that she is planning to release three albums this year! (Yes you heard right 3 in less than 12 months)
Speaking to ‘Pitchfork’, she explained that she hopes to launch her first 2010 record in June, followed by another “sometime after the summer”.
Robyn continued: “Everything is up in the air with the music industry at the moment and there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do things differently - especially if you have your own label, like me... “So I thought about how to cut down on those big breaks between studio time. It's not a new idea - a lot of people put out less-planned releases that are not long, sometimes they are called EPs. But these releases are not EPs. They're albums with enough songs to make them feel like real bodies of work. They are shorter than usual, but still closer to ten songs than five.”

Dolores O'Riordan - It's You

En voici le 3ème single : It's You.
