Dannii Minogue has revealed that she had no plans to return to music following the release of her 2007 single “Touch me like that”.Dannii has been concentrating on her TV career over the past few years after proving a hit on ‘Australia's Got Talent’ and ‘The X Factor’ in the UK, but she is now working on new material.
Discussing her studio return, Dannii Minogue said “I've been keeping it quiet as there is no record deal. But yeah, I've done a little bit already over the past couple of months... “It's all very new. But I have some songs I've co-written and friends have written that ignited my energy to go back to music because I wasn't going to. I was like, ‘Nah, music is over for me’. “But we'll see. I don't want to put any pressure on myself. I've just run into the studio and done a few hours of work. I still haven't got the demos back yet.”
I for one i’m happy to hear she’s back in the studio, she’s released some fantastic dance / club tunes over the years including: ‘All i wanna do’, ‘Put the needle on it’, Who do you love now’ (with ‘Riva’), ‘Don’t wanna loose this groove’ (which sampled Madonna’s ‘into the groove) and ‘Touch me like that’
