Republica have announced that they will reform for a number of gigs and reissue their fantastic 1996 hit ‘Ready To Go’.Republica split back in 2003, but will now release a new version of the song complete with all the original band members, including frontwoman Saffron Sprackling.
According to a music magazine Republica will also play a string of gigs and UK festivals this summer.
Originally released in 2006, ‘Ready To Go’ eventually peaked at No.13 in the UK singles chart in 1997. The band's follow-up ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ reached No.7.
Saffron Sprackling worked as a guest vocalist with a number of acts including The Cure and The Prodigy since Republica split.
