Tickets to EMINEM’S stadium shows in Sydney & Melbourne went on sale today and SOLD OUT in 30 minutes!

Gaga In Sydney For One-Off Gig

US pop star Lady Gaga has arrived in Sydney ahead of a single, invite-only show at Town Hall on Wednesday.

Looking every inch the glamorous misfit, Gaga stepped out of a private jet on Saturday in a floor-length cream dress with ruffled shoulders and adorned with a wide black, Batman-style belt.

Sky-high platform shoes, black elbow length gloves, a black and white coloured hairdo - a crossbred of Princess Leia hair and Mickey Mouse ears - and white reflective sunglasses completed the look.

Gaga entered the international terminal through an entrance reserved for private aircraft travellers before climbing into a black limousine and being whisked away.

Just 1,000 people have scored an invitation to see Gaga's show at Sydney Town Hall on Wednesday night.

Gaga's new album, Born This Way, is the fastest selling album of the year around the word, her minders claim.

Debuting at number one in more than 27 countries, including Australia, the US and UK, it has so far chalked up sales of more than 5 million copies worldwide.

Justin Bieber Determined to Show Up in Sydney Concerts Despite Back Pains

Justin Bieber is determined not to disappoint his fans in Australia as he insisted to go on stage despite back pains that have been killing him since he touched down in Brisbane.

The 17-year old teen sensation has a show in Sydney Wednesday evening for his sold-out concert Thursday evening at Acer Arena.

The teen singer had reportedly sought for medical treatment as soon as he got off the plane Wednesday afternoon for his sore back in preparations for Thursday show.

"He's all about his fans and was saying he didn't care what anyone was telling him to do," a source was quoted as saying by The Daily Telegraph.

A spokeswoman for Frontier Touring according to The Daily Telegraph, said that are waiting for Bieber’s management team to give them the word if the teen sensation will show up in his Sydney concert for two consecutive days.

But chances are Bieber would again defy his doctor’s advice.

He was first told not to go on stage for his Brisbane show but went to perform for his fans anyway.The singer even received rave reviews both from 12,000 fans and his critics.

Justin touched down 90 minutes before the Brisbane show Tuesday night after some plane trouble during his trip from Indonesia before heading to Australia.

"Crazy 24 hours of travel ... back is messed up ... but we are smiling. We finally made it. AUSTRALIA we are here," Justin tweeted as soon as his plane landed in Brisbane.

Before the show started, the singer was reportedly examined by a doctor and a chiropractor - - and both advised him not to perform - - but the “Never Say Never” hitmaker pushed himself to the delight of his screaming fans.

Nostalgia filled the air last night as Aussie band Powderfinger took to the stage at Sydney's Entertainment Centre for their final farewell tour.

In their 11th show of the Sunsets Tour, Powderfinger did not disappoint the packed Sydney audience – returning to the stage for two encores and energetic performances of favourites such as My Happiness, Passenger and These Days.

Bernard Fanning paid homage to Sydney venues such as Glebe's Forest Lodge, the Annandale Hotel and the Metro for all their support throughout the band's 21 years playing together.

Guitarist Darren Middleton also delighted audiences with his voice, giving Fanning a break to jump behind the keyboard.

As the sun set last night on a band that has been a permanent fixture of Australia's music scene for more than 20 years, Powderfinger managed to keep their captive audience enthralled.

Fanning suggested the Powderfinger days were not over just yet - with a Powderfinger movie aptly titled Powderfinger - the Movie to be released.

Whether or not we will see such a film, last night was the end of an era - a band that will be remembered as the stalwarts of the music festival scene and whose hits will no doubt be played for many years to come, where we will raise our beers and reminisce on the good old days of Powderfinger.

The decision to end the group, which formed in Brisbane in 1989, was mutual with all members feeling the time was right to move on to other projects.

Their manager, Paul Piticco, would not let slip what projects these might be when interviewed in August.

With 23 shows to go, Powderfinger's last show in Sydney is set for November 6 at Acer Arena Stadium.

The final ever show for the highly acclaimed band is set for November 13 in Brisbane.
